| St Joseph's in Liverpool where Mary was christened Note: St Joseph's was founded in 1845. In January 1870 there was terrible disaster when 15 people were trampled to death because of a false fire alarm. In March 1876 the roof of the original building collapsed, and the church was subsequently rebuilt. So Mary would have been baptized in this newer building. It was demolished in 1979. |

CHILDREN Note: 1911 Census claims 7 children born to Mary and William but at the time of the census, only four are still alive (Mary, Stephen, Francis, Bridget). We know from records that John & Margaret died young. I only have 6 children born before 1911, not seven.
We are missing a child. I did investigate a William born in 1899, but the christening documentation claimed his mother was Helen Munn, not Mary.
Maybe Mary had a baby in November or December 1899 that did not live. There are enough gaps we could fit a few more babies in here. Anyone know the truth? Please share.

Not sure the following child belongs to them, as Mary would be 42 at the time. His mother's maiden name was listed as Munn and William T had passed away five years ago. So this is a possibility.
