Munn Family: Origin of name

Munn is an ancient Norman name that arrived in England after the Norman Conquest of 1066. The Munn family lived in Kent where they were anciently seated as Lords of the Manor of Maidstone in that shire. The name originated from the family's place of residence prior to the conquest: Moion, near St. Lo, Normandy. (see houseofnames.com)

The family motto: Omnia vincit veritas: Truth conquers all things.

Heraldry: Go to house of names.com and they have a picture of the helmet/shield.
