Eli and Mary Ann Stringer marriage record
Note:  The marriage record claims she is 20, but she was only 17.  Also, her name was simply Mary Stringer in the record, not Mary Ann.  A second marriage record was available which claims 11 Jul 1841 as the marriage date, which is likely when the banns (similar to engagement) were announced
Immigration to United States:  13 October 1875 aboard ship Dakota. -note: on the manifest  he is referred to as Eliza - with his wife 'dittoed'.  Five of their children are with them.

Note: Name on the headstone is Rose H Busby. While it may seem logical the H stands for Hannah, her christening record claims Rose Anna.  Perhaps the H is for her first husband, Henry Hodge?  She is buried with her 3rd husband John, the only husband I have a record she had children with.

SECOND WIFE

Mary Elizabeth Nicholls
Taylor Shell's  headstone
(Mary) Elizabeth Nicholls
Parents: Benjamin Nicholls and Elizabeth Elson
I've seen two different  middle names for her - Ann and Elizabeth. According to her birth and christening record, it is simply Elizabeth Nicholls. On other (later) records (such as daughter Elizabeth Taylor's death certificate) she is listed as Mary Elizabeth Taylor and her headstone, Mary E. Shell.
Born 25 March 1838 Birmingham, Warwick, England
Christened 15 April 1838 Saint Thomas, Birmingham, Warwick, England
Immigration to United States:  13 October 1875 on ship Dakota (Eli, their children, and herself were passengers in steerage which means they were in the part of the ship that contained the steering apparatus.  It was the least expensive rate.) The ship "Dakota" was built the year the family sailed to United States (1875):  The Liverpool and Great Western Steamship Company, known commonly as the Guion Line, was a British passenger service. Two years later, in 1877, the Dakota shipwrecked near North Wales (no loss of life).
Married 2)  George Washington Shell 14 December 1887 Logan, Cache, Utah (he died in 1892)
Died 14 June 1901 Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah
Buried Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Salt Lake, Utah Plot 04-093
