Obituary:
"Descendant of Pioneer County Family Dies. "Word has been received here of the death and subsequent burial this week of a descendant of one of Warren County's pioneer families, Joseph Luther Taylor. "Taylor, 80, was a grandson of Joseph Taylor, Revolutionary War soldier whose grave is in this county. (He was the great-grandson of Joseph Taylor) His parents, the late Joseph Irvin and Mary Miller Taylor, moved from Warren County in 1870 in a covered wagon to Crawford County, Kansas, where they were to spend the remaining years of their lives. "A leading Methodist layman and cattle rancher, Taylor died Monday of a heart attack while on a train en route from Pittsburg, Kansas to his ranch at Mt. View, Okla. Burial services were held Wednesday at Pittsburg. He was buried at the side of his wife, the former Ethel Caveness, who wrote a history of the Taylor family which had its roots in Kentucky and North Carolina. "Taylor, who visited Bowling Green several years ago to attend a family reunion, is survived by a son John Taylor, who is head of the Oklahoma Farm Bureau; and two daughters who reside in Oklahoma City and Detroit.  "Taylor also is survived by several cousins who reside in Warren County. They include Hubert Cherry, Preston Cherry and Mrs. Ida Miller, all of this city; Mrs. Garland Skiles, Rich Pond, and Mrs. Louise Reeves, Richardsville."

Obit:  Obituary of Joseph Luther Taylor, from unknown newspaper It was a clipping sent to Gilberta (Knickerbocker) Evans by Nora (Young) Ferguson in 19 Aug 1952 correspondence, so it is quite possibly from a Bowling Green, KY, newspaper:
