Benjamin Weeks Will (Page one shown below)
Translation of above will:  In the name of God Amen, I Benjamin Weeks of Guilford in the country of Strafford and the state of New Hampshire Esquire being of sound mind and memory thanks to God therefore calling to mind my mortality that is appointed to all men to die and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength and ability to do, I make and publish this my last will and testament in answer and ? following ?  my spirit to that God who gave it and my body to the Earth to lie buried at the discretion of my creator ? and as touching ?  worldly ? please God to bless me with in this world I have desire to dispose of it in the following manner and form that is

First, I give and bequeath to my bloved wife, Sarah Weeks, the one half of all my homestead farm  one half of my dwelling house thereas one third part of the other buildings thereon - also one third of the farming utensils - also as much of the livestock of my herd as shall make one fifth part of the whole - also one eighth part of all the unproved land on the ? lots all to be for her improvement or benefit during her natural life.  I also give/bequeath to her the said Sarah Weeks for her use and...

Page Two:   ...benefit forever and at her disposal all the household furniture That I shall have at my decease and after paying my ? debts and funeral charges I dispose of the remainder of estate in the following manner
Secondly, whereas my daughter, Sally Wadley was ? not to keep house in addition to that I give her all the land between the highway and James Hoyts land beginning at David Hoyt's land and standing entirely on the highway to the ? end of the bridge there northerly ? as the brook as is convenient toward Samuel Hoyt's land during her life and then to her son Benjamin also one acre easterly of the above and adjoining the same during her life and no longer.
Also I give to my son in law Henry Wadley on half of the balance that shall be found ? estate on note or accounts also the ewe sheep ? to his wife to be paid by my ? after ? in one year after my decease
Thirdly whereas my son Matthias Weeks has in time past received considerable property of me in addition in addition to which I give and bequeath to him the said Matthias a note he gave Stephen Bean of ? and by Bean ? Daniel Weeks and by said Daniel  to me said note was for one thousand dollars and interest - also I give him what I paid Benjamin Bodge I being bound with said Bodge with said Matthias which was about ninety dollars when paid.  I also give him the interest on his note he gave me dated 21 August 1813 up to this date ? 362 dollars.  I also give him a note he gave Thomas ? for 35 dollars 50 cents.  I also give him the ? I shall leave also ten dollars of his note to be allowed by my executor hereafter named.
Fourthly, I give and bequeath unto my son David Weeks ten dollars to be paid to him ? in one year after my decease - I also give to my grandson John G Weeks one fourth part of all the ? of all my estate whether ? not disposed of ? together with the remainder of one fourth of all my real estate to have...CONTINUED ON PAGE THREE
Page 3:  ...to hold to him the said J G Weeks and his heirs in trust that the said John G Weeks shall carry on and improve the same to the best advantage and yearly and every year pay over to his father the above named Daniel the clear annual income of said estate after deducting the ? expense of carrying on and improving the same ? and at times as be the said John G Weeks shall think work beneficial to said David Weeks during the lifetime of said Daniel held in case the said Daniel Weeks should die having children under age then in trust to carry over and apply the clear annual income to care for the support maintenance and education of said children of Daniel until ? the age of twenty one years and in case said children or any of them shall ? to the age twenty one years then ? to each of said male children ? of the said John G Weeks and each of said female children notes of said John who shall not be married in the life time of the said Daniel Weeks his or her equal ? of said estate ? to himself which ? I hereby give ? to him the said John G Weeks his heirs and ? forever.
Sixthly I give to my son Elisha Weeks, Benjamin Weeks, and Levi R Weeks, to be? in equal ? the other three fourths of all my estate real and ? together with the ? of those ? of all my real estate to hold to them the said Elisha, Benjamin, and Levi R Weeks and their heirs forever
Seventhly I hereby constitute and appoint my aforesaid son Levi Weeks the executor of this my  last will and testament hereby ? and disregarding all former wills by ? In ? whereof ? the said Benjamin Weeks have ? my hand and ? this ? day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine Signed sealed and published by the above
