Obituary: Carleton Sentinal, 27 Oct 1877
At Bath, Kent, on the 14th August last, the widow of the late John Giberson, aged 83 years, 10 months. The deceased was the mother of 10 children, 98 grandchildren, 90 great grand children. A widow for 43 years, she devoted herself faithfully to the careful upbringing of her own children, 2 adopted children besides several of her grandchildren. She was always hospitable to the full extent of her means, and got her living by the sweat of her face. For 5 months before her death she became helpless and during this time often used to speak of her conversion when a little child. A number of years after her conversion she was baptized by her brother Rev. G.W. Orser. She lived a Christian to the last. Her funeral was attended by Elder Estabrook, assisted by Rev. G.W. Orser. A sermon was preached from Revelations 14th Chapter and 13th verse. "Even down to old age all my people shall prove His sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love, And when hoary hairs shall my temples adorn Like lambs they shall still in my bosom be borne."

Dibble and Rachel's marriage record

Died 21 Apr 1898 Bath, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada (age 27)

Note: Dispatch 27 Apr 1898 News
A Deadly Drink - Dibblee Giberson, son of George Giberson of Bath, and Charles Sweeney, the one aged 25 and the other 22, went over to Houlton recently on their way to join a lumber drive. At the drug store they asked for some alcohol and witch hazel to use as an outward application of the limbs. They afterwards drank the concoction and young Giberson died. It is thought that the Houlton Druggist may have given out methylated spirits in the place of alcohol. He marked the bottle poison, and warned the parties not to drink it. Sweeney is getting better.

Obituary: 27 Apr 1898
Died at Bath, Dibblee Giberson of Monquart Settlement, died very suddenly on the 21st, by drinking a preparation for external use. The internment took place in the Free Baptist cemetery, Bath, on Saturday the 23rd.
