There was a Jedediah listed among the children on ancestry.com, but at 1784 and his sister, Ellen, was born that year.  I suppose it is possible, but when I found the death date for a Jedediah and in Connecticut, I decided that since there is no source for the parents' marriage, this is possible and doesn't conflict with the other kids.  So, he may or may not be a child.  The name is unusual enough that it caught my attention.  So, if you know for sure, please share with us.

Rumor:  When I looked in military records, I found an Evan Wallace (only 18 in 1860) that was in the war.  However, there wasn't anyone on the list of Quantrill's Guerillas with the surname Wallace - follow this link: http://www.kansasheritage.org/research/quantrill.html to look for yourself.  It is possible the list is not complete.  I also looked on: http://www.tngennet.org/stewart/civil.htm to see if the state of Tennessee had anything on them.  He is not listed, nor are his brothers - however, some of Evans' nephews are.  Does anyone know the truth and have sources?

This cemetery is in extremely poor condition, very overgrown with brush and brier. Some graves are unmarked (with field stones) and some stones are unreadable due to weathering and age. Also some have been knocked over/fell over and cattle have free access to this cemetery.
