Frances Taylor Cherry
Frances Taylor
Born 1783 Coneto Creek, Edgecombe, North Carolina
Parents: Joseph Taylor and Sarah 'Sally' Best

Married  (Widower) William Cherry 25 May 1802 North Carolina
Died 17 November 1852 Warren County, Kentucky (age 69)
Note:  her parents are listed as "James and Sally Taylor" instead of Joseph and Sarah on the record, she is listed as a widow and cause of death was a "fever"
Buried: Requested photo on findagrave in the Taylor Cemetery and a person reported:  Could not find this grave, searched entire cemetery. This cemetery is in extremely poor condition, very overgrown with brush and brier. Some graves are unmarked (with field stones) and some stones are unreadable due to weathering and age. Also some have been knocked over/fell over and cattle have free access to this cemetery.

  1. I am Great Grand son of Bailey Harrison Cherry. I have his civil war travel trunk and a picture of him as a young boy. It has no date, he looks to be 9 or 10 yrs. old
