This is a Family History blog. Lately, it was unblocked by Bitdefender which thought it was a 'dangerous site.' I requested and received a review and they deemed this blog as NOT dangerous. I invest a lot of time in gathering this information. Please give credit and list this blog as a source. Note that there are links that are no longer viable but I did use them as sources, so they are left in place, hopefully with a note letting you know that they are no longer working.

Ruth Skeat
Born abt 1662 Wilt, England
Married 2) John Ingles 1737 (see note below)
Died 25 Dec 1748 Pennsylvania
Note: there are several sources that claim she married John Ingles in 1737, inlcuding the book mentioned below, but there is a chance they are confusing her with her granddaughter. Ruth Harmer, daughter of William, who married James Henry Ingles in 1737 and had children. This Ruth would be 70 years old in 1737 - so, a marriage is possible but children aren't. Perhaps John is the grandfather of James...more research is needed.
