Captain John Fox 1640 Margaret Thomas 1641

I have found this line polluted by several inaccuracies and will add to the post when I find more reliable material. If you have such material, please comment so all can have the correct information.  If I have made an error, by all means, let me know so I can fix it.

Merchant -Trader
Captain John Fox
Parents: John Fox and Elizabeth Convers
Born abt 1626 Buckingham, England
Occupation: 1650 Commanded The White Horse and Curry Comb - a merchant vessel trading to Virginia
Merchant/Trader in command of the "William and John" which sailed in April 1659 from England to Virginia.
From online source: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/JOHN/1999-08/0935036634
Note: link is no longer valid, but I leave it here because I used it as a source there is this information: "The founder of the Fox Family in America was Captain John Fox who commanded several trading vessels plying between England and Virginia. He was a member of the Fox Family of Great Missenden Parish in Bucks County, England, whose coat of arms appears on the memorial tablet to Henry Fox.
Married 1) Anne Vincent 16 October 1648 London, England
Note:  Did not find evidence of this marriage, but the fact is, John was married twice. His first wife died in England.  John's children and his second wife did not arrive in America until 1664-5
2) Margaret Thomas 2 Apr 1661 St. Dunstan, Stepney, London, England
Note: Her given name in the record is spelled Margrett

Margaret Thomas
Born abt 1628 England
Note: Did not find her in the Stepney Parish and I'm beginning to doubt her birth year since she would have been in her 40's and just beginning to have children.  She may have been significantly younger than her husband. The other possibility is that these children belong to Anne and John instead of Margaret and John.
Died abt 1680
