Levi Mitchell

Married Sarah Whitten 25 August 1841 Jennings County, Indiana
Children: Walter, Louisa, Winfield, Marietta
Died 1866 Rockcreek, Bartholomew, Indiana
Note:  A 1940s inventory of Donaldson Cemetery noted a stone for Levi Mitchell, died 1866. His marker was not found during inventories done in 1999 and 2002 but maybe hidden beneath the sod. Two sons, Walter and Winfield, are buried here.

Levi's wife, Sarah, and youngest daughter Marietta, were still residing in Rock Creek township in 1870. Another daughter, Louisa Josephine Mitchell, married John Trent and moved to Montgomery Co., Kansas.
