Obituary (shown to left) says:
Obituary

The death of George Alonzo Giberson occurred at his home on March 10th after a lingering illness of many months.

He was 91 years of age and the son of George and Elizabeth Giberson, born in Holmesville where he resided all his lifetime.

He was widely known, a man of high ideals, hospitable, and neighborly.  Many years ago he identified himself with the Christian Church and has always been a contender for the old-fashioned faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harry Williams of Easton, Maine, a number of grandchildren, near relatives, and many friends.
Therefore, will be much missed in the community.

Funeral service was conducted by Reverend A. Hatfield, assisted by Reverend Earl Giberson from his late home to Primitive Baptist Church, Holmesville, where many friends gathered to pay their last tribute of respect for one who had lived so long in their midst.

Hymns for the occasion were: "There is a land fairer that day" at the home. "Eastern Gate" solo by undertaker Britain, "Zion's Hill," "Abide with Me"
There were many beautiful floral tributes from family and friends.  Pallbearers were relatives of the deceased:  Loren, Arnold, Gordon, and George Giberson.  Interment was made in the family lot of the Holmesville Cemetery, Holmesville, besides the remains of a faithful wife who predeceased him some 18 years ago.
