  3. Michelle, thanks very much for your response. I had come to the christening event through an elimination process. Son John's second marriage (Meldreth, 11 Sep 1796) was to a Mary East - this marriage is the line in our FT. I don't know whether Mary's family name is a transcription error on the copy of the parish records I have. If the name is correct, we want to find her roots.
